Fauna in Australia

Il y a plusieurs way to see animals: walking in the bush or going to a zoo. I`ve done both of them, I went to Peel & Perth Zoo and each free times went to the bush. So, help yourself to find where I took the pictures, bush or zoo, should be easy.

Submarine`s annimals:

LEZARD:

BIRDS:
Perrots

Pour ninime, this time there is no house in the background of the picture below !!!

Et petit clin d`oeil pour les hivernants, qui s`en vont hiverner sur les iles Kerguelen et Crozet ( SubAntarctique) au mois de Novembre.

MARSUPIAUX:
Wombat:

Marsupial, the name wombat comes from the Eora Aboriginal Community. It takes 14 days to complete digestion, which aids their survival in arid conditions.

Koala:
Aboreal marsupial herbivore native to Australia. He is NOT FOUND in Tasmania or Western Australia ( ou je suis !!).
The koala was hunted almost to extinction in the early 20th century largely for its fur ( sent in Europe or U.S).
Millions koalas were killed with guns, poisons and nooses. And today, habitat loss and the impacts of irresponsible urbanisation are the leading threats to the survival of koala.
The population has not fully recovered from such decimations.
